What is Chakshushya Basti?

The method of treating deep-seated eye disorders is known as Chakshushya Basthi.

It is not a single treatment, it is a group of multiple treatments.

It includes:

Virechana

Yoga basthi or,

Kala basthi

Includes 7 types of panchakarma treatment related to the eyes.

We run this Basti (medicated enema) treatment for about 8 or 16 or 30 days.

Generally, 8-16 days of treatment is efficient to cure the deep-seated diseases of eyes, prior to this treatment we advise Virechana treatment.

Because the part of the intestine which nourishes the Majja dhatu (bone marrow) is Pitta sthana.

For this Virehana is the best treatment. Later on, Chakshushya basthi will completely nourish the eyes.

To restabilize the vision and lustrous quality of eyes, panchakarma procedures related to eyes. By administering the medicines related to the eyes we can nourish the liver, intestines, bone marrow.

It will be difficult to get success in the treatment if patients approach the Ayurveda in the end with much damage by undergoing the allopathic treatment for a long duration.

Except for the injuries by external causes, By Ayurvedic treatments with respect to eyes, we can get cure hundreds of eye disorders by which are originated by internal causes.
